Maxicom Canada — frequently asked
BC PIPA alignment?
Our Certificate of Destruction includes BC Personal Information Protection Act alignment statements on request. The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of BC does not certify ITAD vendors — we provide documentation alignment, not certification.
Cross-border to Seattle / Pacific Northwest?
Yes — under CUSMA. Data is destroyed Canada-side first; only post-destruction kit crosses the border. Customs documentation handled; CAD or USD settlement by agreement.
