Maxicom started in 2000 as a boutique IT trading and refurbishment business headquartered in Canada. Over 25+ years we've grown into a multi-country operation — Maxicom UAE (the flagship at maxicom.ae), Maxicom Global Canada (this site), and Maxicom India — serving the IT-asset-disposition needs of banks, data centres, MNCs and government-linked corporations across MENA and North America.
We are deliberately founder-led. The decisions about how we destroy data, what we'll claim on a public site, who we'll partner with for credentialed work, what we'll quote and at what speed — those decisions stay with the people running the company, not a sales-cycle script.
How we differ from the volume players.
Our positioning in Canada is explicit: the boutique alternative to the publicly-listed volume players. Where they require whole-cage commitments and 6-week onboarding, we accept partial-rack pulls and quote within 2 hours. Where they cannot say 'we don't have that certification yet', we will.

What we hold today, and what we don't.
Today, what we deliver is data-erasure to NIST 800-88 + IEEE 2883-2022 + DoD 5220.22-M with a per-job Certificate of Destruction and serial-level chain of custody. We document destruction in a format aligned with PIPEDA Schedule 1, Principle 4.7 (Safeguards) and OSFI B-13 expectations.
We do not hold facility-level destruction-industry certifications today (such as the major industry destruction-industry programmes), and we do not hold ISMS-class management-system certifications. We do not make those claims on this site. As we add formal credentials we will list them on the Compliance pages with issuer, number and expiry — and only then will we claim them.
Where a specific tender or audit requires a credential we don't yet hold, we'll partner with a credentialed provider for the slice that needs it, in writing, before you commit.

Maxicom Global Pte Ltd is the registered Canada arm of the wider Maxicom Global group, with sister operations in the United Arab Emirates (Maxicom UAE — operating from Dubai's Jebel Ali corridor with 25+ years' history) and India. The Canada operation has been trading since 2000 from our Toronto office.
The three-country structure matters because regional MNCs increasingly have ITAD scope that spans multiple countries — a Canada-HQ MNC with offices in Dubai and India, or a UAE-HQ trader with Canada re-export flow, or a global firm with presence in all three. We can engage as one contracting party in any of the three jurisdictions and execute coordinated retirement across the multi-country footprint, with consolidated documentation routed through whichever country the contract sits in.
Brand standard is identical across the three countries — same colours, fonts, evidence-pack format, NIST 800-88 + IEEE 2883-2022 destruction discipline, per-job Certificate of Destruction format. The country differs; the standard does not.
