Know what your IT fleet is actually worth.
Whether you're planning a refresh budget, supporting an M&A due-diligence file, or filing an insurance claim, you need a defensible CAD number on every serial. Our valuations reference current secondary-market data, not stale book value.
What we handle.
Three valuation contexts:
- ♦ Refresh planning - what residual budget can you expect from the kit you're about to retire?
- ♦ M&A due diligence - what's the IT-asset side of the balance sheet actually worth?
- ♦ Insurance / loss claim - fair-market replacement value with an audit-defensible methodology.
- ♦ Estate / receivership / liquidation - independent valuation for creditors and court.
Streamlined workflow.
48-hour standard turnaround on lists up to 500 lines.
- 1. Asset list · Send a CSV with serials, makes, models, configurations, condition (if known).
- 2. Reference pricing · Each line referenced against current secondary-market trader data.
- 3. Adjustment · Volume tier, condition, geographic-market, urgency premium / discount applied.
- 4. Report · Per-serial CAD value + summary roll-up by category, condition, OEM. PDF/A archival format.
What you get.
- ♦ CAD-denominated, audit-defensible methodology referenced against current market data.
- ♦ Per-serial reporting suitable for inclusion in M&A due-diligence files or insurance claims.
- ♦ Optional companion buyback offer at the valuation price (no obligation).
- ♦ Independent of the buyback decision - we're not pricing low to win the resale.

Maxicom Canada — frequently asked
How is the valuation different from your buyback quote?
The valuation is independent and methodology-documented - it's a fair-market reference suitable for accounting, insurance, or M&A use. The buyback quote is what we'd commit to pay. The two are usually within 10% of each other.
Can the valuation reference book value as well as market?
Yes - on request, we add a depreciated-book-value column for reconciliation against your fixed-asset register, alongside the CAD market value.
Is the report admissible in court / receivership / insurance proceedings?
The report is methodology-documented and signed by a named valuation specialist, with reference data sources cited. It's been used in receivership filings and insurance claims.
