Terms of Use.
By accessing maxicom.ca you agree to these Terms. They govern your use of the website, the information we publish, and any enquiry you submit through our contact forms. These Terms do not govern the engagement contract that follows a successful quote — that is a separate Statement of Work executed between Maxicom Global Pte Ltd and your company.
Information on this site.
The information on maxicom.ca — including indicative CAD residual ranges, compliance explanations, technical methodology descriptions and FAQ answers — is published in good faith, reflects our practice as at the publication date, and is intended for general informational use. It does not constitute legal, regulatory or financial advice for your specific engagement. Final scope, pricing and obligations are set in the executed Statement of Work, not on this site.
Indicative CAD residual figures are estimates based on representative recent secondary-market activity. Your actual quote depends on the specific make / model / configuration / quantity / market conditions on the day. Under no circumstance is an indicative figure on this site a binding offer.
Acceptable use.
- ♦ Use the site for genuine business enquiries about IT-asset disposition, buyback or related services.
- ♦ Do not submit false enquiries, inflated asset lists or misrepresented identities.
- ♦ Do not attempt to scrape pricing data or reverse-engineer our quote logic.
- ♦ Do not attempt to circumvent the rate limits or anti-spam controls on our forms.
- ♦ Do not use the site to distribute malware, run automated bots, or test our security without prior written authorisation.
Intellectual property.
All content on maxicom.ca — text, images, infographics, logo, brand-mark, the Maxicom & Co. lockup, the Canada-localised content and the underlying static-site implementation — is the property of Maxicom Global Pte Ltd or its licensors and is protected under Canada copyright law and applicable international treaties.
You may print or quote individual pages for your own ITAD vendor-evaluation purposes (eg copying our DDQ page into your procurement file). Republication, reproduction at scale, or use of our content to train third-party AI models without written permission is not authorised.
Disclaimers.
To the maximum extent permitted by Canada law, the site is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, that pages will render identically across all browsers, or that every external link will remain live. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the extent permitted.
Third-party links (eg to OSFI, OPC, NIST, IEEE, sister-country sites) are provided for reference; we do not endorse or warrant the content of those sites.
Limitation of liability.
For website-only interactions (without a separate executed Statement of Work), Maxicom's total liability arising from your use of the website is limited to C$100. This is not a limitation on liability arising from contracted engagements — those are governed by the SoW, which carries its own indemnity, insurance and liability framework.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages arising from website use, whether in contract, tort or otherwise.
Governing law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. The Canada courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms. The contractual engagement (if you become a customer) carries its own governing-law clause in the Statement of Work, which prevails over these Terms for engagement-related disputes.
Changes to these Terms.
We may update these Terms periodically. The current version date is shown in the footer of this page. Material changes (eg new sections, changed liability terms) will be flagged on the homepage for 30 days following the change. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Maxicom Canada — frequently asked
Is the residual estimate on a buyback page binding?
No. Indicative figures are estimates only — the binding number is in the written quote we send within 2 hours of receiving your asset list.
Can I quote your content in my procurement file?
Yes — that's exactly what the DDQ checklist and Certificate format pages are intended for. Larger reproduction (eg republishing on your own intranet) needs a quick written nod from us.
