iDRAC + transferable warranty.
iDRAC Enterprise license is transferable to a new owner on Dell PowerEdge kit, which directly translates to refurb-buyer demand. Original-purchaser transferable warranty (where remaining) is also a meaningful residual lift — buyers prefer kit with warranty cover they can rely on without relicensing.
Dell ProSupport Plus extension adds further premium where the warranty is transferable. We document iDRAC and warranty status per device on the quote.
Maxicom Canada — frequently asked
Do you buy Dell PowerEdge with iDRAC Enterprise locked?
Yes, but the residual is meaningfully higher when iDRAC is transferable to a new owner. We can sometimes coordinate with Dell to transfer the iDRAC license; the customer typically initiates that with Dell.
